Cuban Special Cocktail

Just what is it that makes the Cuban Special so special? It is hard to put a finger on exactly what it is, but for me at least, the fresh pineapple juice is what I am the most fond of in this recipe. This wonderfully tropical, exotic, and incredibly flavorful cocktail is perfect for one of those hot summer afternoons when the world is still and the heat is at its peak. There is nothing quite like a fruity cocktail to tone down the sweltering sunlight!

The Cuban Special is similar to a Cuban Sidecar, the difference between the two being the pineapple juice and the garnish of a pineapple wedge. The drink combines rum, fresh lime juice, fresh pineapple juice, and triple sec to create a lime-y, pineapple-y, orange-y concoction that is sure to drive drinkers wild with joy!

These are also fantastic to enjoy at a pool party, particularly when it starts heading into the muggy nighttime hours. It will refresh you and get you geared up to continue the festivities in no time!

2 measures rum
1 measure fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon fresh pineapple juice
1 teaspoon triple sec
Pineapple wedge, for garnish

1.  Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice cubes and cold water. Set it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Pour in the rum, fresh lime juice, fresh pineapple juice, and triple sec. Shake the mixture vigorously until it is well frosted.

3. Empty the ice cubes and cold water from the cocktail glass.

4. Strain the mixture from the cocktail shaker into the chilled cocktail glass.

5. Decorate the drink by garnishing it with a wedge of fresh pineapple, then serve and enjoy!

The Reverse Diet

In recent years, Trisha Cunningham authored a book and a diet plan known as the “reverse diet.” She claims that if you have had that “moment” when you realized that you were overweight, that you needed to lose weight, no matter what it may have been, you can use her diet to fulfill the need. She calls her approach a “reverse moment.”

Cunningham originally weighed in at 292 pounds. She had dealt with obesity for her whole life, and it was only in her 20’s that she decided to finally do something about it. She did not try to blame this on genes, but rather on family habits. For years and generations, she came from a family who had participated in unhealthy eating habits generation after generation and passing these habits on through each.

So at her moment, she took everything she knew about eating at that time and turned it around. Essentially speaking, instead of eating a big dinner, she turned that sizable meal into breakfast, and instead of eating a small breakfast, she turned what used to be her dinner into her breakfast portions. As for lunch, she made it a small and sensible meal plan. She only participated in light walking type exercise, and over time with this plan, she claims to have lost a total of 170 pounds.

In this diet plan, you are essentially eating the same amount of calories, unless of course two of your meals were sizable. Then you may be cutting some calories. But the idea behind it is not the calories, but rather the order. When you eat your calories early, you give your body the whole day to burn them off instead of giving your body only a few hours right before bedtime. Also, if you eat more of certain types of calories early in the day, you give yourself another benefit. You start your metabolism off right, filling your body and therefore reducing your appetite later in the day. So in truth, though you are eating more at first, you do stave off your appetite and actually consume fewer calories.

The biggest part of Cunningham’s success is not however the meal size or meal plan, but the fact that she plans ahead. She doesn’t leave it until the last minute only to turn to fast food or otherwise in a panic. Instead, she maps out her meals the day before, planning the exact sizes and plans. She makes sure that she gets a breakfast, and she makes sure that all her meals are sensible. By this, she avoids sabotaging herself.

SlimQuick Review

Known for its affordable formulas and stick figure commercials littering your favorite channels, Slimquick is a product line targeted specifically at women. They claim to be “scientifically developed” to address 6 of the major reasons why women have trouble losing weight or are overweight now. In short, it promises to attack your hormones, maximize rapid fat loss, and even provides you with a specific diet and exercise guide to maximize your results. The Slimquick Cleanse claims to eliminate toxins in the gentlest fashion, increase metabolism, improve digestive function, increase energy, cleanse the colon, and balance blood sugar levels.

Can SlimQuick Really Do All That?

If you look at Slimquick, it has no basis in reality. It has quite a few diuretics and a small amount of glucomannan, a soluble fiber. But it uses a proprietary blend, not even revealing the amount of the total proprietary blend. Some of its ingredients include green tea, senna, ginseng, lactospore, chaste, milk thistle extract, artichoke, tumeric, dandelion, cranberry, fennel, peppermint, and bromelain.

While these ingredients are great diuretics in some cases, and green tea actually could promote a higher rate of metabolism, they do not reveal the quantities! Green tea requires at least 400mg to provide weight loss effects, which is extremely unlikely here. So you are left with a bunch of diuretics that will force your body to drop water weight, but nothing else. And by nature, water weight is easily lost, but also easily gained. The most likely effect with this product is dehydration and 5 minute results.

But science and ingredient history aside, we want to hear from you. After all, regardless of what studies and scientists may say, it means nothing if it doesn’t work for you, or for that matter if it does work for you. So we have created its website to allow you to share your experiences about SlimQuick Cleanse, whether good or bad. We have received hundreds of testimonials and reviews already, and we look forward to future contributions. We have found that the most informative and useful SlimQuick reviews from consumers base their testimonies on criteria such as speed of results, price you paid, customer service experiences and overall value.

We also found other weight loss solutions with a substantially higher rate of approval, both from the scientific community and every day consumers. See which weight loss product has the highest consumer rating.

Home Treatment for Bleeding Hemorrhoids

Bleeding hemorrhoids are the worst form of hemorrhoids. It means that they were not properly taken care of at the initial stages and that their condition has considerably worsened over time. As you know, hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum, like the varicose veins you sometimes see on peoples’ legs. Straining to pass hard stool, which is considered a major cause for hemorrhoids to develop in the first place, puts a lot of pressure on these veins and irritates them, as well as the sensitive tissues surrounding them, resulting in small cuts and scrapes that will sometimes bleed.

Bleeding hemorrhoids are usually internal hemorrhoids. They are normally not painful, and it is possible that you may have no other symptoms at all, apart from blood on the toilet paper after you wipe yourself or in the toilet bowl after a bowel movement. Bleeding hemorrhoids are quite common and are actually the most common reason why you may have blood coming out of your anus. However, you should never, ever just assume that this is the case! Anal bleeding may be due to other, more dangerous and life-threatening causes, apart from hemorrhoids, such as colon or rectal cancer. If you are not absolutely sure that the bleeding is caused by hemorrhoids, or if you have tried to treat them for a while but they continue to bleed after a couple of weeks at the most, you should definitely get yourself properly diagnosed.

In any case, you should never leave bleeding hemorrhoids untreated, because although they are not considered dangerous and you may experience no symptoms or discomfort, they will worsen over time and may lead to complications.

Treatment for bleeding hemorrhoids

There is a number of options to consider concerning treatment of bleeding hemorrhoids.

In relatively mild cases you may consider that hemorrhoids will go away on their own. There are several over-the-counter treatments you can buy, such as ointments, creams and suppositories. Some home remedies are also considered quite effective. Drinking apple cider vinegar for example, or applying it directly, in the case of external hemorrhoids, may effectively stop them from bleeding and relieve the swelling and irritation within a few days. Combining this with warm baths two or three times per day, and keeping the afflicted area really clean and dry, will speed-up results.

A more long-term but lasting treatment is to fight constipation. Including more fiber and water in your daily diet will help ensure that you do not strain during bowel movements, thus effectively relieving the pressure on your rectal veins and allowing your hemorrhoids to heal naturally.

In more severe cases, you might need more serious medical treatment. There are a number of options available, such as rubber band litigation or sclerotherapy. Hemorhoidectomy which consists of actual surgery-cutting off the hemorrhoid from the underlying tissue- is normally reserved for extremely severe cases.

Fast and permanent cure for bleeding hemorrhoids

Will such treatments provide a permanent cure for your condition? Unfortunately, they probably will not. Most treatments will effectively address the symptoms of hemorrhoids, relieve the swelling and stop them from bleeding. However, as soon as you stop treating them, hemorrhoids tend to recur. Even surgical procedures cannot guarantee to treat hemorrhoids permanently. Unless you are prepared to undergo really major changes in your diet and general lifestyle, there is a definite possibility that you will develop hemorrhoids again eventually.

What is blue waffle

I’m sorry but I found no information on anything close to a blue waffle, in fact, this name is a slang for a vaginal infection which is formed from bacterial infection. Blue Waffle is an internet meme, an image of the genitalia of a woman who appears to be suffering from vaginitis.

Basically this condition is not a real disease and it’s only a slang term as we mentioned above, but it will show your vaginal infection might be severe. Sometimes this is a STD in your vagina. And this infection will lead to your vagina look like the blue color, then most of women said it to blue waffle disease.

According to the pictures of blue waffle, you may find there is no official web that shows pictures and images for this condition. Some several pictures on internet might be Photoshopped by someone due to some certain reason or just a joke. So you don’t worry it and if you are suspend it as a disease that can cause your body to be bad you should see the doctor.

How Coffee Helps Reduce Stress

Coffee lovers everywhere know how awesome it is, but do they know that there are actual health benefits from drinking it? The jury is still out on exactly how extensive the benefits of drinking coffee are, however new studies are coming up with some positively exciting news. One of these bits of news is coffee’s role in reducing stress. Read on to learn how this may be possible.

In moderation, coffee acts as a stimulant, which can help calm a person’s nerves. It is important to note here that people who drink coffee regularly, high blood pressure caused by stress, is actually lowered slightly. In people who do not drink coffee regularly, the caffeine can actually make stress seem worse because they are not used to the caffeine content in their system. What this seems to mean is that if you are not a coffee drinker, sitting down and having a cup will not magically reduce your stress. In people who regularly drink up to six cups of coffee a day, stress has been shown to be lower.

For some people, just the smell of freshly brewed coffee can bring about feelings of peace and this can help lower stress levels. Whether it is scientifically proven or not, the aroma of coffee is very calming for a lot of coffee drinkers. There is just something about sitting with your favorite mug filled with a freshly brewed coffee that is calming. Some can sit and inhale that rich aroma and start feeling the stress melt away.

For some people, sitting with a cup of coffee reminds them of happier times such as childhood memories. These fond associations can be instrumental in reducing stress levels. While brewing the coffee, they can start thinking about the pleasant memories and by the time they finish that first cup, they are already feeling better.

It is important to note that the studies being performed are on black coffee, with no additives. The other thing to remember is that while coffee is a wonderful beverage and deserves as much respect as possible, it is not a miracle cure. You cannot expect to drink a cup of coffee and have make your stress completely disappear. What you can expect, however is that sitting and relaxing with a cup can help you calm yourself and think a little more clearly. To sum it all up, coffee drinkers everywhere already know what they are doing, so enjoy that cup of coffee with your head held high!
